Tyler Gottula's passion for hunting ignited at the tender age of five, when a day out with his daddy imprinted a memory so vivid, it feels like just yesterday. He began mastering his first duck call around that age, and by eight, he was celebrating the triumph of his first green head shot on the backwaters of Oologha Lake. At ten, Tyler was already making waves in duck and goose calling contests, traveling across the mid-south, state to state, fueled by his father's unwavering support. That same year, his first deer hunt sealed his love for the chase. By fourteen, he was guiding waterfowl hunts, relishing the thrill of earning while pursuing his passion.

Two determined seasons of bow hunting later, Tyler experienced the exhilaration of his first bow-shot deer, and from then on, archery was his chosen path. As years flew by, his dream of spearheading his own outfitter business grew stronger. Immediately after high school, WIFO was born, and Tyler began living his dream — one he'd cherished since he was fourteen. Today, be it the sight of greenheads descending on a water hole, Canada geese settling into a dry field, or a majestic whitetail buck advancing, the thrill remains undiminished for Tyler. Every hunt rekindles the fire and passion of that five-year-old boy on his first hunt.
